Sorry I've not posted for a long time a lot of personal issues over the last few months and will continue over the next few. As a result I've not done any crafting at all. I'm hoping that I will get the inclination back soon but until that happens there'll be not be anything to post.
Sorry x

August at Anonymous Stamps
Hi Everyone,
Another month has flown by and it's that time again for the next challenge for the Anonymous Stamps Blog. This time it's titled 'Falling into Autumn' and here's my DT card for this one.
I really wanted to colour this image so I know using autumn colours is a little tenuous but I really enjoyed doing this one as I've been doing an on-line skin and hair colouring class so wanted to see how I'd come along. I'll post more about that later. The image is called 'Flower Girl'.
The whole image has been coloured using Copics & Promarkers:
Background
Almond, Satin, Tan, Cocoa
Flowers
Antique Pink, Dusky Rose, Budding Rose
Apple Cider, Blender
Hair
E15, E18, YR23, YR21
Skin
E000, E00, E11, E21, E04
R20 (cheek, lips)
As the Anonymous Stamps digis are free you've really no excuse for not selecting an image, colouring and entering the current challenge.
Hope you all have a great summer.

Living the Good Life at Anonymous Stamps
Hi Everybody,
Wow! I can't believe a whole month has gone past and I've not posted on my blog, how naughty of me!! I've been suffering with badly with hayfever and have not done much crafting. Anyway back to the reason for this post. I'm hoping that you'll all pop over to Anonymous Stamps and enter the new challenge. My DT entry for this month is below.
I've used the 'From A Rose' digi stamp which I coloured 3 times with Promarkers before doing my bit of decoupage by cutting it above the banner and using Pinflair glue to add the dimension to it.
The colours used were:
Petals
Antique Pink, Dusky Rose & Budding Rose
Leaves
Pear Green, Marsh Green & Olive Green
Here's a closer view of the digi stamp:

Summer Loving at Anonymous Stamps
Hi Everyone, this is my DT card for the Anonymous Stamps challenge this month which is call Summer Loving. It's a little different this time, the challenge is asking everyone to use the same stamp to see what can be done with it. It's a new one designed by Sian called Blossom & I really enjoyed colouring it using a lot of bright summery colours.
I created the background with orange card as the base matt and then cut the yellow card with my craft knife to create the sun rays. I then die cut a circle with my spellbinders nestabilities and assembled as shown.
Here's a close up of the digital stamp which I've decoupaged with the Promarker colours listed down the side:
Hat & Trousers
Pastel Blue, Denim Blue, Cornflower
Hair
Ivory, Raw Sienna, Terracotta, Chestnut
Skin
Ivory, Satin, Putty
Flowers
Blossom, Pink Carnation, Fuchsia Pink
Pumpkin, Mandarin, Bright Orange
T-Shirt & Yellow Flower Centres
Yellow, Canary, Sunflower
So pop along to the Anonymous Stamps blog to pick up the free digital stamp and enter the challenge it will be great to see how you all interpret and use the design.

18th Birthday Card
Well yet another family birthday his time for my niece who is 18. The image is a digital stamp from Saturated Canary and was a freebie for Facebook group members. I just loved colouring this one using my Promarkers and I was so pleased with the result it was a while before I could bring myself to use it on a card but then I can always do another one.
Dress
Ruby, Cardinal Red, Burgundy
Bandanna
Cobalt Blue, China Blue, Midnight Blue
Hair
Ivory, Raw Sienna, Terracotta, Chestnut
Skin
Ivory, Blush, Oatmeal
Money Bag
Tan, cinnamon, Cocoa
Boots
Cinnamon, Cocoa, Umber
Ear Rings & Coins
Gold, Amber
The dies for the flowers, the corner & the numbers are Tattered Lace. The card is the linen look gold from create and craft so not as bright as usual mirri card, although it seems to be brighter in the photos than in real life.

The happy birthday die is from Tonic Studios and the backing papers we in my stash I think they're a Papermania design but can't be sure. The embossing folder was Crafters Companion Embossalicious Perfect Paisley.

Boudacious Bev Times Two
Well another family birthday card this time my 25 year old step-son. He's football mad but I decided to do something completely different this year so I used a Kenny K digi image that I've had for ages but never used.
It's quite amazing how different an image can look just by changing some of the colours. All the colours for the hair & skin were the same I changed the Reds for Pinks & used lighter greys but that was all.
So on both images were:
Hair
Ivory, Raw Sienna, Terracotta, Chestnut
Skin
Satin, Putty, Oatmeal
Clothes
Lipstick Red, Red, Berry Red,
Warm Grey 4, Warm Grey 5, Black
Clothes
Cocktail Pink, Carmine, Magenta,
Warm Grey 2, Warm Grey 3, Warm Grey 4
All the papers and card backgrounds were from my stash. The dies were spellbinders for the cushions and the headboard & a tattered lace sentiment. The punch was a Tonic Studios.
This was one that turned out just as I hoped.

Mad About...
Here's another of my makes that I did in March. It was for my step-daughters 21st birthday. I designed the card as a gate fold as I wanted the inside to surprise her. The front of course had to be her favourite colour which is purple so out came my tonic dies for the plaques and borders and my Tattered Lace dies for the words and numbers all tied up with purple ribbon.
As I know she's a little mad about Giraffes I was desperately looking for an image I could use. Luckily Google came to the rescue and this absolutely gorgeous image popped up on Mo's Digital Pencil. I also made a concious decision to keep it simple so that the image inside stood out and wasn't hidden by a lot of embellishment (that was on the front of the card). It was coloured with Promarkers all shades of brown with the exception of the flower.
Flower
Purple, Yellow, Leaf Green
The image was mounted onto black & then purple card before being added to the inside of the gate fold. I used the perfect layers rulers to do this matting and layering, I only got them recently and they are fab makes it so much easier to get everything right.
I do have to add that my step-daughter loved her card.
Giraffe
Burnt Umber, Henna, Cocoa,
Caramel, Tan, Putty, Almond

Anything Goes at Anonymous Stamps
A little news for you today, I was asked to join the Design Team of Anonymous Stamps and I say: Yes please & thank-you for asking!
This came about after entering my Mothers Day card into one of their challenges. It's my first ever DT membership and this post is my first ever DT card so I hope you like it. The challenge this month is Anything Goes so hop on over to the Anonymous Stamps Blog pick up a free digi stamp and enter the challenge.
I've chosen Windswept as my main image for this months challenge but I've actually incorporated a second image Strawberry Blossom, it needed a little resizing and also flipping to fit but I thought they worked perfectly together. The colour combination is an unusual one for me but I'm really pleased with the outcome.
The card base was made using pearlescent copper card-stock and the largest Spellbinders Grand Stately Circle die. The second largest die from the same set was used to cut the green paper. Using some of the left over card-stock I then attached the two circle dies to create an easel card base.
The images were coloured with Promarkers the colours used are listed below:
Hair
Pastel Yellow, Raw Sienna, Terracotta
Flowers
The Windswept digi stamp was then attached to the front of the card as were the two floral stamps, the latter with Pinflair glue to add some dimension.
I created the stopper using another Spellbinders die, Medallion One. which I attached to the base of the easel with foam tape. The flower I added to the top of this and the centre of the floral digi stamp was created using Crealies Creative Flower die number 10.
The design was finished off with a few gems, some ribbon and a sentiment stamped onto the same papers, these were also cut with Spellbinders Circles and Lacy Circles.
Now you've got through this long post don't forget the challenge over on the Anonymous Stamps Blog.

Wedding
This one was made for a friends wedding. The colour was decided when I found out the colour of the bridesmaids dresses but I didn't know what the outcome of the design would be as it evolved over time.
The roses were made using Martha Stewart paper clay and left to dry overnight. The edges were then lightly inked with Dusty Concord Distress Ink. I cut the leaves from Centura Pearl using the Tattered Lace Summer Rose die which I then coloured using the Leaf Green Promarker. The roses were then glued to the die.
All the words were cut using the Tattered Lace Sentiments dies and the whole things was glued to the topper base which was then added to the card base.
Due to the dimensions of the roses I had to make a box for it. This again has some more paper clay flowers and various dies all Tattered Lace. The initials are those of the Bride and Groom.
A special card for a special day.
I started with die-cutting the base using Spellbinders Grand Decorative Labels One which I then embossed with a Die-sire A4 folder. I then threaded the ribbon round the edge, this had been coloured with the purple Promarker as it was originally white. The card base made with purple cardstock from Papermill direct and a larger spellbinder die from the same set as before.
I then printed 4 copies of a Just Inklined image of a wedding cake onto Neenah card-stock which I then coloured with Promarkers using Purple, Orchid, Lilac, Leaf Green and Bright Green. I then decoupaged the images and heat embossed the purple areas with a holographic embossing powder to add a little bit of sparkle (although this doesn't really show on the photo).

Colouring Hair & Skin
After the enjoyment of colouring my Mothers Day Card I decided I wanted to colour some more as I find it very relaxing and therapeutic. I decided that I needed to improve my hair and skin colouring so I found a lovely digital image on Anonymous Stamps called Windswept which I printed a number of times to practice different colour combinations.
